    As the title says,

I installed elementor to use with certain form. Works great for creating form, but when I want to edit the form, I always get 404 not found and I discovered it is due to permalink issue.

I am using the following custom permalink for my site:

    /%category%/%postname%/

If I remove the /%category% part elementor works again and I am able to edit:

    BROKEN: /%category%/%postname%/
    WORKS: /%postname%/

    I did troubleshoot from here:
    https://elementor.com/help/how-to-fix-404-page-or-page-not-found-error-messages/

But how could I fix it so I can use the custom permalink as above (it is a big site, and I can’t change them!)

No it’s not a public site unfortunately.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi,
I see you have a 404 issue with the forms.

`The reason could be one of the following:

An empty or missing form field ID.

An issue with an email marketing integration, such as Mailchimp.

    Server issue.

    To troubleshoot this issue:

    Open your form’s settings.

Click on each form field and then click Advanced.

Make sure that the ID field is not empty. If it is, add a unique ID.

If this doesn’t help, make sure that you have mapped all of the fields correctly in the email marketing service.

If this doesn’t help, follow the steps in the below-mentioned articles.
