I am trying to add the GTIN field in the field mapping section in the sttings, I add it and save but it doesn’t show in the feed after it being downloaded.

Should I wait for it to be added or does this show an error?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The only way is to create a new feed with the GTIN section, but I need the current feed so how can I solve this?

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

You mention you have mapped Google’s g:gtin field to one of your attributes holding GTIN values but that after updating the feed it is not making it to your feed. Changes are this is caused by a caching plugin or some server-side caching you might have set-up.

Are you running a caching plugin or server-side caching? If so, make sure to flush/clear the caching when you are reprocessing your feed and make sure to exclude the feed location/URL from being cached.

Thank you very much for the reply,

I use W3 total cache for purging website Cache, I am not sure if you were refering to this or not. If yes, how can exclude the feed URL while purging cache?

    Hi,

We are, unfortunately, no expert in all caching plugins out there so that is something you would have to pick-up with the support team of your caching plugins. Most caching plugins though have a feature where you can exclude path’s/files from being cached.

Did clearing/flushing the cache manually solve the issue at hand?

    Hi,

Yes clearing the cache solved the problem. Thank you for your support.

Perfect, that is good to hear. Thanks for the heads-up!
