Shortcode Post meta date formatting

Hi there,

Thank you for a great plugin! I am retrieving a date custom field in the body of a notification through shortcode [psppno_post meta:wpcf-deadline]. This works fine except the value returned in a Unix timestamp.

Can you offer any means of converting this to a readable date?
