Thanks for your ideas. The second and third ideas are implemented in the plugin. When images are uploaded, they are converted to WebP. All sizes, including thumbnails.

What do you mean by auto-resize?

Thanks for the quick reply, what I meant by auto-resize on upload is if the images is larger than a set size example 1200 x 1200 it will be resized to reduce the size before coverting.

@akgt You can do this using image sizes in WordPress. You will find a ton of information about this on Google.

Hi again another option. I Needed to manually convert WebP & optimize a few Images but you do not have this feature, so I had to switch to another plugin

Would you consider adding this?

yes I had 3 images that did not convert to webp and i did not need to convert all the remaining files so i needed to manually convert the images in the media section.

so I used another plugin to do so, if you had a option to convert each image manually if needed in the media section that would be useful.
