    hello,

I do not know where to start or when we will finally have these improvements.

but what is certain this phenomenon is becoming a reference and it is not ready to stop anytime soon.

almost all of our web or mobile or even tv service applications that we use now have dark mode. it has become a reflex to look for the option to activate it.

the real question is not: “can you do a dark mode?” it does not make sense in this context

the question now: “will blocksy line up with the competition with dark mode or leave its place empty for others?”

“Will blocksy save us from the tyranny and dictatorship of dubious magic plugins with the promise that everything will work by magic .. with the illusion and suffering from adjusting a million settings and flaws. .? ”

    tested plugin 1
    tested plugin 2

a good dark mode, is a dedicated dark mode and optimized by its parent theme ??

    exemple

maybe it’s time to have a good cup of coffee and start getting inspired isn’t it?

  • Hey @nreljed

We definitely want to ship dark mode as it has bene one of our highest requested features. But to create such a feature, we have to take into account every use case out there.

There are millions of colour combinations that need to be analysed to see how would the switch to dark mode affect them.

The reason why dark mode hasn’t shipped so far is because we try to make every new feature perfect and gather as much feedback as possible before putting it out into the world. We had a few internal prototypes and things are starting to look good.

So, all in all, Blocksy will have dark mode at one point, but it has to cover all use cases and be as perfect as it can be ??

    Hope this clears it up.
    Thanks
