Publicize feature stopped working on Facebook.

    We have the Publicize feature set up on 2 of the 3 multi-site WordPress installations in our project and these are connected to a Facebook page and a Twitter account. All this was working fine until a few weeks ago when the client reported that posts are not being published on the connected Facebook page. There were no issues with Twitter.

    As a first troubleshooting option, we disconnected both accounts and re-connected on both the WordPress Jetpack settings and also on wordpress.com. This has no effect. We then tested both multi-site WordPress installations on the the Jetpack Debug page and we got the “Everything looks great!” message on both URLs.

    It’s worth mentioning that we are trying to share posts from a Custom Post Type. The necessary code had been already added months ago when we were setting this up so we know that there should be no issues there.

    We checked the list of Known issues and we don’t believe that we’re experiencing any items from that list. We’re also using Cloudflare to protect the site from attacks, limit bots, etc so there could be the possibility that certain requests are being blocked by this. Would you be able to give us any information on what we need to be sure that it’s not blocked here?

    What other things can we check to try and see from where the problem is coming from? Is there some sort of debug log that we can check on our local WordPress installation or wordpress.com?

    There was a bug with Publicize and custom post types over the last couple of days, this has since been fixed. Can you try again?

    Thank you very much. We have a multisite set up and one language works but the second one doesn’t yet – Any Idea ?
