Control Length of Recipe Excerpt

Hi there,

I’d like to limit the length of all manual recipe excerpts. I don’t see this option available in the Cooked plugin settings, and I’ve tried adding various functions to my functions.php file, but nothing seems to work. Pretty much pulling my hair out at this point.

I’m using the [cooked-browse] shortcode in an Elementor shortcode widget. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
