Error: We’ve detected there’s already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-103149033-1), but your account doesn’t seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team.

Thanks for reaching out. This notice you’re encountering is normal if there’s an Analytics snippet placed on your site which your Site Kit connected Google account doesn’t have access to.

In order to be able to view Analytics data for this site you can perform one of the following:

    1. If known ask the owner of this referenced Analytics property to grant you access at Analytics level, analytics.google.com. You may be the owner of this snippet yourself if you have another Google account, which wasn’t used during Site Kit setup.
    2. Determine the source of the existing snippet and replace it with your preferred Analytics property, before then connecting the Analytics module within Site Kit once more
    3. Determine the source of the existing snippet and remove it. You can then try to connect the Analytics module within Site Kit once more.

Note that if you remove or replace the existing snippet (which you don’t have access to) using option 2 or 3 above the statistics will no longer be tracked on that property, which another administrator may be using.

If you want to share your Site Health information I can help you with determining the source of the snippet. It may have been placed via theme configuration, theme insertion (header.php or footer.php), Tag Manager or a third party plugin. If you want to share your Site Health information via this form and I can see if I notice any plugins with Analytics integration.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.

Many thanks for sharing your Site Health information. I notice you’re using the “Insert Headers & Footers” plugin. Can you check for any Analytics snippet contained within this plugin?

In addition you may also wish to check your theme setup by following the “Step 6: Add Google site tag to your Divi website” section of the below guide:
    https://www.divithemeexamples.com/how-and-why-to-add-google-analytics-to-divi/

Let me know how you get on with the above checks. If you do see any Analytics snippet from the above please remove it before then attempting Site Kit setup once more.

Thank you so much. The error has been resolved. Google Analytics is now connected.
I have added the analytics snippet to the header section of the plugin but I just forgot about it. Thank you for noticing that.

I have also visited the link you shared. I came to know that I can add analytics to the Divi theme without using any plugins. Thank you for sharing this information.
