Album sort order

Hello~
I inherited this site from another designer who set up WPPA in a different theme. I’ve redesigned using Divi and the albums carried over perfectly.
However, the client now wants to reorder the albums from newest to oldest. I changed the order in the admin, but it gives me an error message:
“Album sequence number has only effect if you set the album sort order method to Order # in the Photo Albums -> Settings screen.”
When I go to Albums > Settings, I cannot find anywhere among the options to change the sorting order for albums.
Please let me know how to navigate to the correct place to change the sort order.

The default album sequence method can be set on the Photo Albums -> Settings admin page in tab Basic settings -> Misc -> I: Miscellaneous settings -> Item 1: Album sequence default
This setting can be overruled for child albums on the Album Admin -> Edit album information screen; item: Sub album sort order
The error you get is because you assigned an album sequence number to an album, and album sequence numers are only obeyed when the album sequence method (generally or on the parent album) is set to Order # or Order # reverse
If you want sorting by newest to oldest (by creation date/trime of the album) , select Timestamp desc on the settings page, and leave the albums on default.
