Dashboard, header & images broken

    Hello

    I’ve run into a bit of a problem.
    My dashboard suddenly looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/vxljc.jpg

    My header and all the images on my blog are also all broken.
    Bizarrely, it seems like the only image that still works is my favicon.
    I haven’t changed anything in weeks, so I’m not sure what could be causing this.
    I have two other WordPress blogs on the same server and both are perfectly fine.
    My site is: https://www.starsandclouds.org and I’m running 2.9.2.
    I’ve tried different browsers and it’s not working in any of them.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Well, I did a completely fresh reinstallation thinking that would fix things but I still have the same problem. Actually, the dashboard is back to normal, but all images are still broken.
    I can’t even see the thumbnails of the themes in the dashboard:

    So weird.
    I’m at a loss.

    Well I solved it. If anyone has similar problems here’s what I did: I just deleted the contents of my htacess file and saved it as a blank file. Bingo, everything started working again.

    Err.. you don’t really want to delete the contents of your .htaccess file. That file can be pretty powerful, and it’s there for good reason.

    This solution worked for me too (I’m having the same issue) but it’s best to identify what’s wrong in the file and correct it, than to delete the contents.
