• Hi,

I’m using the password protect option on a page, hope that’s a secure way to protect content from visitors who click to view that page?
Visitor clicks on pages link on the right and is asked for password to view page.

I was wondering if i could set a timer on that page?
So the user is redirected or something saying your time is up.

Then obviously they would have to retreive a new pasword to view that same page again.

Something like that would be cool

    Thanks later

You could do something with custom field like say set up an expiry time for the posts such that after a certain time period the post expires and disappears..

I havent done this before but I am assuming this will give you some pointers..

It’s actually for that video whisper setup the live streaming
I created a page for each user account, each user is a model
So then there is a link for each page on the sidebar
Then i login as each user and get the embed code for each of their video rooms
I then add each embed video into each user’s page and password protect them

When a visitor comes to the site they don’t have to login which is cool i think?
They click on the model they want, which they will have met previously ??
So they’d only have the password to that model’s page.

The thing is i can set the settings.php in the videowhisper setup so that the screen will disconnected the visitor after whatever time i set, but the visitor is able to click on that model’s link again and get back into their room/page again, which i don’t want.

    confusing
