Bold formatting on the first sentence on the front page

    I am using the Teknium 1.2 template. Website is https://www.aslive.org. I want to make the first sentence in each of the three columns bold. On their pages, the first sentence is bold but it won’t show up on the front page.

    If anyone could help me out, that would be great.

    That is because your theme is using an excerpt on the homepage. WordPress default excerpts strip out all HTML tags.

    An easy way to resolve this is create a custom excerpt for those 3 posts, and include the tag in the custom content around the part you want in bold – just cut and paste the content from the main post into the excerpt box. (the excerpt box is below the post edit box. If you don’t see it, click Screen Options at the left top of page and make sure there is a check in the Excerpts box).
