Hello, when I move (by clicking clean link) from main domain to subdomain or vice versa, then this kind of UTM is added to that clean url link:

    ORIGINAL_CLEAN_URL?_gl=1%2Acb1fca%2A_ga%2AMTMwMTQ0ODkzLjE2MzQ2OTYwMTM.%2A_ga_BQ75C2HKLS%2AMTYzNDk1NjkzOS40LjAuMTYzNDk1Njk0MS4w

Please can You tell me how to disable this feature?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

This is not a GTM4WP “feature”.
Either another plugin is doing this or something within your GTM container.

    Please test this:
    – open GTM4WP plugin settings
    – save your GTM ID to somewhere safe
    – change the ID to GTM-XXXXXX and save the changes

If the issue is gone, please go through your GTM container tags

Hello Thomas, thank You for fast answer.
You was right. Its because of GA4 analytics, but I dont have a clue how to fix it…
Its happening only when Im mowing from main domain to subdomains and back. Other external or internal links are not affected by this UTM marking.
Do You have any idea how to solve this?
    Thank You for answer.
    Have a nice day.

    Hi,

I just realized that this is related to cross domain tracking. You should check cross domain settings in your GA4 property:

    https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/10071811?hl=en

If you set this up for your subdomains then you can remove these settings since subdomains do not need cross domain tracking. Only if users move from one top level domain to another, you should use cross domain tracking.

@marosvojtko Can you tell which plugin was decorating your website urls? I have the same problem.
