I’ve been using AIOWPM for years now on 4 sites.

With this most recent update, I ran my backups like I do every Friday, and on 3 of the sites it crashed over and over again

When it did finally manage to finish a backup, last weeks file was 292.8MB
This weeks file was a whopping 837.27MB

The entire site itself (including all wp files, and all images) is only 1.1GB

You can extract the files with https://traktor.wp-migration.com/
Alternatively, you can drag and drop the backup to view its contents here.

You can compare old and new backups to determine why the size is different.

but prior to today’s backup, the backup file sizes were always about the same size.

Yes, extract the backups and compare the contents. You will find out why the size is different. Likely cache or log file somewhere.
