[Plugin: Contact Form 7] To field not parsing correctly

Hi all,

I’ve been using Contact Form 7 successfully for over a year now and decided to try out some new techniques but can’t seem to get one specific thing working.

I want to use a single form for user registration for a program we run (not a problem–this works fine).

I want to receive a copy of the user registration data submitted by an end-user (no problem–this works fine too).

I want to send a different email to the person who filled out the registration data to confirm that we received their data. To do this, I’m inserting the following into the To: field in the 2nd email section (Use mail (2):

[your-name] <[your-email]>

However, when I do this, I get a failure notice that shows that the email address is being parsed incorrectly.

It shows up as <“fred flintstone <john.doe@”mydomain.com>

Any clues as to why this would get botched up like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
