    Hi @bergischerimpuls,

    Is it possible that you are currently using the shortcode as plain text?

    If you are using the Gutenberg Editor or a pagebuilder such as Elementor, insert a “Shortcode” block and place the shortcode in there. If you use the Classic Editor, switching to “Text” mode and pasting the shortcode should do the trick.

    Hope it helps!
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Oh okey well it works now. I am dumb haha. Only one short question: How i can now transfer cookies that are listed in “miscellaneous” into a stand-alone box as the other cookies. Like how can i edit my cookies description etc.

    Hi @bergischerimpuls,

    It looks like this Cookie Policy could use another “Sync with CookieDatabase”, this should already address a sizable part of the Cookies that are currently listed under Miscellaneous. You can do this in the Wizard > Cookies > Cookie descriptions > “Sync with CookieDatabase”.

    There may be certain Cookies that are not fully described on CookieDatabase.org yet, which will be listed as Miscellaneous. If desired, these can also be described manually by navigating back to Cookie Descriptions, enlarging the cookie it concerns, unticking “Sync cookie info with cookiedatabase.org” and changing the fields as desired (make sure to Save).

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Well okey i find them very good but i am using the German language and for example the purpose (Marketing, Statistic etc.) is not good translated. How i can edit the categories?

    Hi @bergischerimpuls,

    These taxonomy translations are also fetched from CookieDatabase, so you won’t be able to edit these locally when synchronizing the list with CookieDatabase.

    Which translations does it concern exactly? I would gladly relay your suggestions to the translation team, so they can have a look.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Uh that would be very cool because its important for the DGSVO (German Cookie Policy) that every user understand it. So i will just listen them up:
    Functional= Notwendig/Essenziell
    Preferences= Pr?ferenzen
    Statistics= Statistik
    Marketing/Tracking= Marketing
    Miscellaneous= Nicht klassifiziert

    I would be very glad if this is imported as soon as you and your team can bc if not I have to look for alternatives in order not to have any legal problems with the data protection authority here. Grettings!

    Hi @bergischerimpuls,

    I have relayed this to the team, however, it has been noted that these translations are not quite the same. For instance, Functional is not exactly the same as Essential.

    I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now, since I noticed that you a different Cookie Consent plugin had been activated in the meantime.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
