    Hi Ben

The latest update to Tracks will not work for me – it returns an error when I process it. I looked at the log to do it manually but couldn’t see the latest version available there.

Also, my social icons etc have disappeared! Not sure if that’s related to the slider I put in.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

It looks like the site is returning some “Mixed Content” error messages because some resources are being loaded from “http” while the site is loaded with “https.” I would check your SSL configuration to make sure it’s implemented properly, and also make sure to update the WordPress and Site URLs in the General settings so that they both use “https”.

That should fix the issue with the icons and other resources not loading, and will likely address the update error message as well.

Thanks Ben. I have had a couple of issues during cloudflare set-up (hopefully now resolved), which may explain the mixed content thing. In settings, both site and WP are set to https. Is that correct?

The update issue predates that, though.

    Thanks

Yea that’s correct. I’m still seeing some of those messages, so it looks like it needs a bit more tweaking or maybe the cache just needs to be purged.

I see your site is running Tracks 1.76, which is the latest version, so there shouldn’t be an update message showing anymore.

Thanks. I changed back from Cloudflare, which seems to have cleared up a couple of the issues at least. The site is operable, at least as I see it here. Is it obvious where the tweaks need making?

The update it’s asking for is 1.18.1..?

Ohh it’s Tracks Pro. Got it. In that case, the license key is either expired or needs to be reset. You can try resetting it from the Tracks Dashboard page by deactivating and then reactivating it. Sometimes the connection can be interrupted by changes in DNS or SSL.

I no longer see the “mixed content” errors that were blocking the icons. I haven’t experienced this issue before with Cloudflare, so I’m not exactly sure why that happened :/

Gotcha. That explains it, then – I actually stopped using Tracks Pro a while ago because I realised I could do all I needed with just the free version. I no longer have a license key, so maybe I received the update by accident? Is there a way of removing the update so it no longer flags up when I log in? I actually didn’t realise Tracks Pro was still active! I don’t think I use any of the features…

As far as the Mixed Content error goes, I removed the site from CF and back to Dreamhost servers. I guess there was some confusion somewhere over the way I set it up, I’m not sure. Glad it looks clear now, though.

    Thanks Ben

If you deactivate Tracks Pro then the update notice should go away.

    Always happy to help ??
