Arrows on desktop, drag on mobile?

I’m sorry, but we don’t have an option to disable dragging only for desktop. The drag and touch based swiping are handled together with the “drag” option:

But if you would really want this, in the Pro version you could duplicate your slider and use the “Hide on” option:
https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1774-slider-settings-size
This way you could display different sliders for different devices, and you could change this setting separately for them.

And at the Arrow’s settings:

you can find a “Hide on” option, which is available in the Free version too.

Is there a way I could implement a next slide upon click method for all instances? so I could disable arrows altogether, like this JS method here from another plugin:
`jQuery(‘.flexslider’).on(‘click’, function() {
jQuery(this).flexslider(‘next’);
});`

The browser click highlighting of arrows in android and ios is a shame. Can be seen here https://smartslider3.com/lightbox-with-caption-slider/

In the Pro version, you could use our Link actions,

to create custom navigation on your slides.

In the Free version, you need to write your own JavaScript code, to trigger slide change events. You can find examples, how this type of code works

But please note we’re unable to provide help with custom coding, or the possible issues that are happening because of them, so you’ll need coding knowledge to make these changes, or you should hire a developer.
