    Heya,

First, thank you for the great plugin! I appreciate the time and effort you take to maintain it.

Right now I am switching from Shopify’s Loox Reviews to Site Reviews and my main issue is to import Loox CSV into Site Reviews in a way that would automatically attribute each review to a specific product.

From what I see, Loox uses URL taxonomy to tell when a given review belongs to a specific product.
With Site Reviews it seems a bit different (post ID).

Here is a sample Loox Export CSV – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ilEG0EdvBi6pI12c4QC46f7r7MEzCDlTbcVEXVrdUbY/edit?usp=sharing (note the “handle” column – it’s responsible for attributing reviews to products).

I wonder, whether it would be possible to bulk upload Loox reviews in a way that would allow their automatic attribution to the correct URLs? (e.g. I am fine with adding post_IDs into the CSV file that I would later upload to Site Reviews).

    I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks!

    Artem

The import tool does not currently support importing assigned post references.

A workaround is to import your reviews in stages:

    1. Create a separate CSV file for each product which contains only the reviews for that product.

    2. After you import each CSV file, go to the All Reviews page, filter reviews by “No assigned post”, and bulk assign the newly imported reviews to the correct product on your website.

If your products do not have a Post ID, then you will likely have to assign the imported reviews to categories instead.

Thanks for the workaround – totally works!

    Follow-up question now…

I just got the paid Images Addon and wonder if I could also import images from the CSV file I have from Loox?

If that’s possible to do, what would need to go to the header of the CSV file so that Site Reviews can “read it”?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately the import tool will not work with images.

However, you can add images to existing reviews, just not in bulk.
