not working, idk why

im really just trying to test it out, i downloaded a fresh theme, added a few pages and then tried to export it with simply static, it exports but the only thing in the zip file is an index.html, the only think in the index.html is <
im exporting it offline as well, if im doing something wrong please let me know. thank you for your time and hope to read from someone soon
