Unable to access log-in / admin page

    A colleague went in and changed the permalinks within the General Settings of the dashboard, which has effectively locked us out of WordPress administration.

    I have followed the directions of the other forum –resolved– postings about not being able to access the log-in or admin for the site (related to the change of these permalinks in the general settings).

    In the WordPress files:

    We have added the recommended .htaccess code

    and

    We have edit the wp-config.php, as per the recommendation.

    We are receiving this error when trying to access the wp-admin:

    Not Found

    The requested URL /wp-login was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.33 Server at ussgravelycommissioning.com Port 80

    What else should I be doing to be able to return to administration?
