• I’m trying to add a custom field via the Edit Page screen. But clicking on the Add Custom Field button does nothing.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

  • Try adding the name of the field (or select it from the dropdown) and typing something into the value field. Then click “Add field”

The issue is reproducible (FF3.6.3, Vista, WordPress 2.9.2 – auto-installed through the hosting provider).

The field appear to be added to the page (as evident by a, for example, page reload) – but the button doesn’t change anything on the page.

The response from admin-ajax.php is (1).

    Firebug doesn’t report any issues.

    Hello,

I have the same problem in WP 3.0 .
The “Add field” button does nothing when I click it… but the field is saved. It seems to be a javascript problem, any idea??
