WC Shipping & Tax necessary with Square and Stamps.com?

    I just inherited a new WC site to maintain. It needs a lot of help immediately. The site is using Square Payments and Stamps.com. Do I still need the WC Shipping & Tax plugin? Jetpack constantly bugging me to connect to it to activate Shipping & Tax. But that part of this site actually works fine. What exactly does WC Shipping and tax do, and what is its connection to Jetpack for?
    The site sells food products so does not need tax. And shipping is done through Stamps.com. So, is WC Shipping & Tax redundant in this case?

    The WC Shipping & Tax plugin takes care of handling tax calculation, payment processing setup, and shipping label printing for your store; it needs the Jetpack plugin to be installed and connected for it to communicate with our servers and to use those features.

    It seems that you already have everything sorted without using that plugin, so in this specific case, you can go ahead and remove it.
