• I Have a few questions.
I have compressed images and regenerated images thumbnails on my site but I have moved to a new theme and need to regenerate the images.

    1. If I regenerate images will it regenerate from the original images or the attached images?

    2. If not do I need to reattach the original images first?

    3. Does it replace the original attached image or do I need to do this manually?

    4. how can I switch to the original images without doing it one by one?

    5. how do I delete all the old images.

    Hi @akgt,

I’m afraid that first you will need to clarify what you mean by attached images, because I’m not sure I understand what you mean. ?? Can you maybe show us some screenshots?

    Thanks,

Ok, to make it simple I’m having issues with the thumbnail images, they don’t fit the box correctly, image is attached. https://prnt.sc/1vtvq3l
    https://prnt.sc/1vtwt6i
as you can see half of the box is empty, im not sure what the issues are ive tried to regenerate a few times but it’s the same.

I thought if I delete all the images and regenerate it may work

    any idea or advice?

    Please help

    thanks

    Hi akgt,

I see. That’s not something that our plugin can solve. Our plugin simply regenerates the thumbnails according to what you set on WordPress. But it is your theme’s job to display them on the frontend and fill in the whole box so it is not empty.

Can you please contact your theme provider in order to get further assistance?

If you have any other questions, let me know!

    Best,
