Send an email when a new lesson is available

Hi,

I want to schedule lessons to be available on specific date. There’s a field available to do that. (Lesson Start Date). My requirement is, I need to send an email whenever a new lesson is available. I noticed that there’s an announcement option but that’s not gonna work for me since it’s a manual process. So, my question is, Is there an action hook available which triggers after a course is available? I have tried to find developer docs but didn’t. Any help is much appreciated!
