Select images on AUTHOR

  • Having a website with multiple image authors it is crucial to be able to select images on AUTHOR, and also to show images in a category selected on AUTHOR of the image.

    When showing an image from a gallery it’s not possible to show the AUTHOR field in a popup (like TITLE, CAPTION or DESC). Of course everyone needs to know the photographer of the image (!)

    When modifying a category with images its not possible to modify the AUTHOR of the containing images, which is crucial (see above)

    Please support or add functionality to embed AUTHOR when selecting and showing images from a ROBO Gallery

    Stated as “Resolved” but requested functionality is not available at all. Should be stated “Resolved” only when functionality is implemented. Thx!

    We have marked it as resolved, because this option is included in the development list.

    Could you please tell me how do you wish to use author image field for the gallery front end? Some filter type? Menu mode or some other way?

    Functionality requested in order of priority, all in the “Edit Gallery” mode.

    1. ADD field AUTHOR to Description Template in /Edit Gallery /Hover Options /Hover mode = Template so we can add the Author of an image to the Hover description

    2. ADD field AUTHOR as an extra option to the list op options “Title”, “Description”, “Caption” used for instance in Lightbox Options so we can show the author in the Lightbox

    3. ADD field AUTHOR as an extra option in the /Menu Options besides “Tags” & “Category” so website-visitors can select a set of images based on a photographer (Author)
