    Greetings,

    I have an error showing “Error processing checkout. Please try again.” and this happens when I activate vaulting for Paypal and PayPal Card Processing for our Live account. I tested using the Sandbox and it seems to work fine. I have vaulted activated in our PayPal Developers account. Our customers purchase attempts are resulting in “FAILED” and this is affecting business. Please advise on troubleshooting ASAP. I have activated “Logging” for the plugin but do not know where the error logs are kept to review.

    We are using: the new PayPal Payments, Woocommerce Subscriptions, Woocommerce All Products Subscriptions.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    The logs you should be able to find under WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “woocommerce-paypal-payments-integration-\[…\]” in the dropdown and click on view.

    There are some known issues with subscriptions, so if you let us know what errors are you are seeing in the logs, we can confirm if this is related to a known bug or if we need to do any further investigation on your site/setup.

    Is there a way that I can grant you access to view the log and ascertain the problem? I see the log but there are many lines of information within 1 day of logs. I enabled the vaulting and card processing and tried placing an order and I get the same error. I looked into the log to see the information but I’m unable to understand which information matches my attempted order etc. I see a lot of lines like this:

    2021-10-12T17:24:11+00:00 ERROR Webhook verification failed.
    2021-10-12T17:24:11+00:00 DEBUG POST https://api.paypal.com/v1/notifications/verify-webhook-signature

    2021-10-12T17:29:53+00:00 ERROR Webhook verification failed.
    2021-10-12T17:29:57+00:00 ERROR Order creation failed: Could not validate nonce.

    Please advise!

    we like to leave the live access for the last resort. What you can do is open a service desk ticket with us and simply copy-paste the entire log and possibly the system report to this ticket as a text file. You can open such a ticket via the following instructions: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/

    However, the logs you provided are indicating that this is related to a known issue (regarding the error “Could not validate nonce”). We have been investigating this issue for quite some time and have released some fixes in the past. Unfortunately, these fixes did not resolve the entire issue and we are still working on it.
    Currently, we believe the settings Accounts & Privacy to be contributing to the problem since we were able to trigger the error when we disabled the guest user checkout option.

    We are hoping to get this one fixed and corrected in the next release, but cannot guarantee anything at this moment. You are still welcome to open a ticket with us to check the logs, just make sure to mention this thread in it when you do, so we know the history of our support so far.
