    Hello there,

    Good day!!

    We’re here to assist you.

Could you please provide information about the following:

    a. How do you update stock on your side? Are you using any third-party inventory management software?

    b. In your side whether WP CRON is Active? It is possible to check it from the Admin Dashboard-> Instock Notifier-> Status.

    c. We’ve Background Process Engine selection option in our settings page – Admin Dashboard -> Instock Notifier -> Settings -> Background Process Engine Selection – Make sure the WooCommerce Background Process option is selected.

    d. We keep recording a log of every activity on our end, which can be found in the Admin Dashboard-> WooCommerce-> Status-> Logs-> Top right dropdown->Check the prefix back-in-stock-notifier with the latest date -> It will have all the information.

    Thanks.

A: Yes I am using a third-party system to add digital products but it’s updating the stock of the products automatically.

    B: Cron Status: WP_CRON ACTIVE

C: Background Process Engine: Yes it’s selected

D: As you can see I sent it manually, It didn’t fire up an auto email.

I will try to test it again and leave it for like an hour to see what will happen when I update the stock, the subdomain it should be for testing purposes not crowded to take time.

    Hello there,

    Good Day!

Can you please explain the scenario of A? because stock sync/updation may happen directly via db query instead of woocommerce function from your third party system, so in our side we detect stock status change only when your third party system use woocommerce function.

You can also check this scenario by create Test Product with stock status as out of stock in your site admin dashboard, then subscribe to the test product and after edit your test product with stock status as instock. Now you will receive our automatic email.

We’re not sure how your third party system coded to sync stock status, if it is a plugin please share the link of that plugin to check their code.

    Let us know

    Thanks.

    Hello there,

    Good Day !!!

We’ve added support in v2.4 to send Instock Email automatically when you manage stock from third party

Admin Dashboard -> Instock Notifier -> Settings -> Troubleshoot Section -> Enable this option if you have updated the stock from a third-party inventory plugin

Enable it and check it out.
