I was unable to accept orders since the 1.6 update.

This was not an issue for me previously, so eventually after lots of searching, i have downgraded to 1.5 version of this plugin and it is working again.

    Please fix.

Full error message: [UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-MISSING_SHIPPING_ADDRESS

I looked at all the search results for this error message, and click the api issue, but finally realised it was the update which broken things for our site.

    Hello @kilyth

we have an issue that we are already working on, in order to get this problem resolved. The issue is caused by the fact that certain countries don’t have the postal code as a mandatory option and this causes this error to occur. We do believe that this should not cause the problem you describe when all the fields were filled in, so we would like to know a bit more about your situation and setup.

Could you provide us with the system report and possibly the log files to see what happened in your environment. You can copy the logfiles from here:
    – WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support
    – WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “woocommerce-paypal-payments-integration-\[…\]” in the dropdown and click on view.
If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)

    Kind regards,
    Joost
