Login redirect failing…

    Okay, have installed WP on two vhosts of mine… one works fine… the other one has the login redirect issue, where Ican’t get anywhere, there’s no error, I’m just pushed back to the login page from any attempt.

    What I’ve done: made a fresh install, new URL. Ensured that ServerName in Apache is set correctly. Culled all cookies and appropriate saved passwords from Firefox, restarted browser, re-installed WP… No dice.

    I have the same issue. I have tried everything and I mean everything mentioned here in these forums.

    It is definatley a cookie issue.

    I eventually got my blog going by deleting everything, installing 1.2.2 Mingus, setting eveything up and then upgrading to 1.5 beta and then it worked. I presume if you do the same with 1.5 Strahorn it will work too.

    Only problem is now I can only login on the one machine which is a pain and I cannot change my password.

    What is the difference between your 2 hosts?

    I just ran accross a post in this forum that fixed all my problems!

    Go to Fixing WordPress 1.5 on Windows 2000 (IIS 5) and follow the instructions there.

    I shall try it out, though one problem immediately comes to mind: I’m running Apache under *ix.
