Northern Ireland Currency Wrong

Please go to the System status page of our plugin and let me know which IP you see when you login the site from Northern Ireland.

I tried to reproduce this by ‘Calculate shipping’ using City=belfast and also using postcode=BT15 1AS but each time it shows currency=GBP which is correct. Yet I have order in woocommerce priced in Euros with address as follows: 411A, 123 York Street

County Antrim
BT15 1AS

I think you are misunderstanding the auto detect feature. Its only functionality is to choose a wanted currency based on a customer’s country, it cannot restrict the customer to the detected currency all the way along until they place orders.

If you want orders that ship to Northern Ireland must be in GBP and orders shipped to EU countries must be in EUR, it’s another feature(change currency following customer’s billing/shipping address) but it’s not available in the free version.

I understand how this works now – very clever. The IP address from where the book was ordered is: 86.42.98.114 Does this show as Northern Ireland or Ireland (Eire) ? Is the plug-in working correctly?

This IP belongs to Ireland according to https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup
However, this information has no meaning regarding your second question about our plugin, they have no connection.
