Slideshow only on specific pages

On customize mode I checked that I want to display slideshow on homepage and other pages. It’s almost good but I don’t need slideshow on news pages – here I want to display chosen featured image from news.
On blog settings I have checked “Use the featured image from the post as a background banner, if available” option.
How can I do it? Maybe is it possible to disable display slideshow and enable in this place displaying a featured image on all blog news and leave slideshow on pages only?
