Results of trying to find a theme with a right sidebar menu location

  • I’d like for there to be a “Right Sidebar Menu” below Menu Structure (and below Menu Settings and beside Display location) , after I select what I named “menu b”, at WordPress Dashboard >> Appearance >> Menus >> Edit Menus. I tried, without success, to get a “Right Sidebar Menu” in two ways.

    The first way involved clicking on “Right Sidebar” under Layout at WordPress Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes >> Add New >> Feature Filter. None of the first six themes had a Right Sidebar. I wasn’t too disappointed because I don’t know how to find out if any of those themes are reliable, though I would like to learn how to find that out with all themes, not just those six.

    The second way involved using the page “29 Best WordPress Multipurpose Themes” by a (what I think is a) reliable website (called “wpbeginner”) at https://www.wpbeginner.com/. I tried 32 themes because the names of some of those 29 themes sounded like the names of other themes. Of the 32 themes, I couldn’t find 15 themes, and the remaining 17 themes didn’t have a Right Sidebar.

    I think it would take too long to explain why (I think) I can’t use a right sidebar widget.

    Please let me know if you would like more details (such as which themes I found using the Feature Filter, which of those wpbeginner recommended themes I couldn’t find, and which of those wpbeginner recommended themes had at least one menu other than the Right Sidebar Menu).

  • You want to add a new menu on the right sidebar?
    Just use Appearance –> Widgets –> Sidebar –> add new element –> Navigation Menu

    because I don’t know if I can use ProfileGrid’s Login Logout Menu extension with a widget.

    Instead of being a ProfileGrid problem, I’m curious if this problem can be a WordPress problem.
