Variable does not show value

  • Hello.
    I have your plugin enabled and so I get on the thank you page your event gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC.
    I get values in data layer, like revenue, order ID etc. and I have variables, that should read that values (like ecommerce.purchase.actionField.revenue.).
    However somehow GTM in debug mode does not show any values, when the event fires.
    I get return type and value = undefined. Also Fb pixel helper does not show those same values.
    However on the next event named “purchase”, which I don’t quite understand if this is Woocommerce data layer push or your plugin?
    There my other variables show the right values, like revenue, order id, etc.
    Can I please ask for a help with that?

    Hi,

    gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC includes a data layer structure that is primary designed for Universal Analytics (aka Google Analytics 3) where purchase includes a different structure designed for Google Analytics 4 and the update dynamic remarketing tag for Google Ads.

    Both include almost the same things but in a different format.

    At this point, all I can help is this, if you can provide some screenshots of your tags and trigger setting, I can have a look at them.

    They show my dlv settings and GTM debug show “undefined” value.

    The main issue stay:
    My Dlv with a name: ecommerce.purchase.actionField.revenue.
    does not show any value when the event gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC is triggered.

    So any ideas why my variable show undefined value in GTM debug and also in Facebook pixel helper.
