Can’t add sidebar

    Hey!
    I dont have sidebar in my Neve theme. I tried to add it through Customize -> Layout -> Content/Sidebar. But this does not work. What can be the issue?

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

    If the settings in the Customizer are correct, the sidebar may not appear because of the page template. If the page template is “Fullwidth”, the sidebar won’t be displayed because the rest of the content occupies the entire space, so the page template has to be set as “Default template” for the sidebar to appear. This can be checked by:

    • opening the editor
    • clicking on the settings wheel from the top bar of the editor
    • going to “Page”
    • expanding “Template”
    • selecting “Default template” from the dropdown, as you can see here

      • Also, please make sure the sidebar configuration is properly set in the editor by:

    • opening the editor
    • clicking on the Neve options button
    • expanding “Page Layout”
    • choosing the “Left” or “Right” option under “Sidebar”
    • selecting the “Default” option under “Container”, as you can see here
