Composite with private products as components

  • Is it possible to have components be published privately but show up in the composite options? I’m trying to make some of my privately published products as options in the composite. I can choose the products as components when creating my product, but they don’t show up on the front-end if I’m not signed in as admin. When I preview the listing, they are there.

    I want to have customers to only buy these products through the composite, which is why they are private. But if there is another way, please let me know.

    If you just want to sell some products in composite products, but not as individual products in your shop, there are two things you can do to prevent buyers from reaching those component items:

    1. Disable “Link to individual product” by choosing “No” for this option in WPClever >> Composite Products. https://prnt.sc/1t6htro

    Go to Composite Products, choose No for the Link to Individual product option to disconnect individual products from the composite.

    2. Hide them from your shop archive and search by adjusting their Catalog visibility to Hidden, but still keep the Visibility as Public. https://prnt.sc/1t6hyg4

    You can adjust the Catalog visibility to Hidden, but must keep the Visibility as Public for our plugin to find and add products to the Composite Product.
