Can’t Publish Post – Just says Post updated – But the Publish Button Reappers

Been searching around…will keep searching but does anyone have any ideas why I can’t publish a post?

Used to be able to but now after hitting publish it states “Post updated.”

But the the “Publish” button remains instead of changing to “Update” and it remains a “draft”.
