CPU overload

  • My host just disabled my site do to cpu overloading they said my index.php file was using 100% of the cpu. This is what they sent me:

    [Wed May 05 11:24:50 2010] [info] Executing
    “/home/evonygam/public_html/index.php” as UID 528, GID 528

    This is my home page. The site does get about 850 visitors a day but I am nowhere near my usage limit. Any ideas? The only thing I have been able to find so far is that installing a cache plugin might help.

    Any ideas?

  • CPU doesn’t have anything to do with bandwidth usage, unless the 850 people were loading at the same time.

    There must be a plugin that is constantly calling to the database or another service to cause 100% CPU usage.
