    TweetMeme do not store your username or password data when we ask you to authenticate with our follow button. That data is sent directly to Twitter using the Twitter OAuth process. What we get is a token from Twitter based on this authentication that allows us to then access your account so that you are following the person you wish to follow.

    You can at ANY point revoke that access by going to your Twitter account and in settings/connections remove the connection to TweetMeme. We do our best to make it easy for you to follow people without having to log into twitter every time you find the follow button. The setting up of this connection through Twitter OAuth makes this possible.
