FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and upload your chosen image (eg logo.jpg) to your theme’s images folder. The height of the image should be no more than 85px.

Then edit style.css and change:

}

Once the logo image is in place and is being displayed on the page, you’ll then need to decide what to do with your blog’s text title and tagline. The available options will depend, to some extent, on the width of the image that you use as your logo.

You’re not editing header.php. You need to edit style.css. And ensure that you upload the logo image to the correct images sub-folder.

Ok, The image is uploaded to wp-includes/images/logo.jpg , and just for kicks added images folder to root and nothing

Thanks, that did the trick, just one more question. Putting the blog name and description to be invisible was easy, but how do I do so and leave the logo clickable to go back to home?
