Blog shows page 1, 2 and 4, NOT 3

  • Why on my first (latest) blog page it shows the following pages at the bottom…….

    1 2 … 4

    Why not the number 3?

  • The pagination of your theme is designed so that if you have dozens or hundreds of pages it doesn’t list them all. For example, if you have 12 pages, it will show 1 2 … 12. You’ll notice that if you go to page 4 then page 2 will be hidden.

    This is a way to avoid the issue of a large amount of pages appearing in an enormous list. Unfortunately you have an awkward number of pages where it’s only hiding one number. Once you have more content it will be more useful.

    If you want to change this I advise speaking to your theme’s author, who may have a method for you to change this without much difficult. Otherwise it would require coding.
