Header is not responsive on all devices

I got the free version to test out before purchasing the pro version as I liked the look of the theme layout. However, it does not seem to be responsive wrt the header images or the ‘call to action’ widget. I had a programmer friend look at it and he couldn’t figure out why this is happening either so I posted a question to the forum but did not get a reply after several weeks. It’s a pity as the theme looks great overall. ?? I will not be able to upgrade to pro if I can’t be sure the images will resize correctly.
