Back In Stock Notifier for WooCommerce v2.3.2 is suddenly not working on My client’s site. Clicking on the notification link generates this error for all out of stock products, single item, group and variations:

“Unable to verify details, please try again after some time”

It was working earlier in the day and no changes have been made.

    Can you assist?

    TIA!

Update: After clearing all cache including the host’s dynamic cache, it appears to be working again as expected. No idea what caused this.

    Thanks for the great plugin!

    Hello there,

    Good Day !!

We use one layer of security to our ajax request which is WP Nonce – but due to caching mechanism from third party plugins/hosting this security nonce also cached which cause this error “something went wrong, please try again after some time/Unable to verify details please try after some time”, some cases by setting up cache timeout in plugin settings reduce this kind of issue/manually purge your site cache may also help.

We planned to provide option to ignore security check as an option in upcoming version v2.3.3 -but it is not recommended solution(to get rid of such error temporarily).

    Thanks.

Thanks very much for the fast reply and understood.

The plugin has been working flawlessly for about a month. I’ve no idea what other plugin or caching might have suddenly caused the issue. The site uses WP Fastest cache (which was updated last week as I recall).

This particular site is hosted on SiteGround.

Agreed, I would not want to ignore the security check as that’s precisely the reason we’re using the pro version.

    Thank you again.

Unfortunately this issue is happening all of the time now. It may be due to the WP Fastest Cache plugin as I can clear the cache on a single page to resolve it, but it continues to happen on other pages. Once I clear the entire site’s cache Back In Stock Notifier for WooCommerce | WooCommerce Waitlist Pro begins working normally.

We paid for all of the Back In Stock Notifier for WooCommerce add-ons and the only one being used currently is the Back In Stock Notifier for WooCommerce Add-on: Custom CSS.

If you have any advice, it would be appreciated.

Again, this is a recent issue and unless it can be resolved quickly I’m going to have to advise my client to remove the plugin, seek a refund and begin looking for a replacement.

My client just opened a ticket on your support website.

Thank you for your attention to this, it is appreciated.
