    Hi I just downloaded and activated this plugin and nothing changed on my site. Still public. How can I troubleshoot?

    Hi– thanks for using Force Login!

    This sounds like a caching issue. Try re-saving your Permalink settings to force an update to your server cache.

    Also, make sure you’re not already logged-in when you test how the site behaves for visitors. Try using an incognito window or different browser.

    Follow-up, sorry this was indeed related to a full-page caching feature provided by our host, SiteGround. Thanks for the tips.

    I have the same issue. I re-saved permalink settings. Cleared cache. Talked with my managed Hosting (Wp-engine) and they mentioned:

    It might be worth contacting them, if this is caching related there may be a specific configuration or specific pages that we need to exclude. We would not be able to exclude the whole site from the cache.

    I have reached out to my Theme (Thrive Theme) and I am waiting if they have some sort of incompatibility.

    Do you have any other suggestions I could try?
