[Plugin: WordPress File Monitor] Option to exclude sitemap files?

Hi
Would it be possible to add an option to exclude sitemap files?
The reason I ask is because my sitemap files (sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz) are in my root directory where WordPress is installed, meaning I cannot use the exclude directory option for them, but each time they are updated I receive an email from file monitor.
