    Hi there,

I posted about this a year ago and now the topic is closed. It’s still not resolved, I can confirm 100% that my notifications will not come back, even after deleting this plugin completely!

I’ve tried deactivating ALL of my other plugins and still nothing, as a result there is no way I can update anything. I can confirm that every single plugin is out of date (by looking at the versions) but there is no way to update them now.

I know it’s because I used this plugin to hide all notifications forever – I’ve never seen this happen before and it’s the only time I’ve ever used it. It seems to have hidden them literally forever, and so there are none of the links that come with the notifications to update plugins.

Is there something I can to in SQL to delete all traces of this plugin or something?

    Please help, thanks!!!

    Hello.

Our plugin hides notifications only when activated. In addition, the plugin hides only notifications from the top, but it does not hide notifications about plugin updates on the plugins page!

Maybe you can show the problem in the screenshot so that I can help?

    Hi,

Yes, that’s what I understood and that makes sense! But it seems like too much of a coincidence, I’ve never seen these update links since installing this plugin and choosing to hide notifications forever.

Is there no chance this plugin is linked to this? Very strange coincidence if not, possible I guess.

I cannot even update wordpress either, no update links anywhere in the dashboard…

Do you happen to have a multisite?

    Nope!

I’m wondering if I should try manually reinstalling wordpress…

Reinstalling WP will not help you. Maybe your user does not have enough rights? or is there some plugin configured that blocks plugin updates

Hi, thanks for taking time to respond ??

    Admin user btw.

I only have those plugins you see from that screenshot I pasted above, and they are all deactivated now.

The wordpress version is old now because I cannot update that either the normal way! I think it’s 5.1 or something… Anyway I feel it has to be something to do with something being out of date, but I can’t update anything!

Do you not think updating to the latest wordpress manually could make a difference?

And if you check here on my updates area, it says my plugins and wordpress are up to date – I know this is 100% false! So weird…

    In this case, reinstall WordPress.
