Elementor Fails to Load

I can’t share a link to the page because it’s admin side only. Essentially, the links that open Elementor fail to load, offering the helpful message:

I feel like the error is probably rooted in permissions that were (or were not) allowed for the admin side. The “home/customer/…” part of that final line seems to point in that direction.
My question is: how do I edit the settings in this plugin if I can’t access Elementor?
If I can’t, what should I do after I turn off the plugin to try and go in there to fix this?

(I’ve set dozens of conditionals on the site, and it will take hours to redo them, so I’d really like to avoid ripping it out by the roots and starting over, but I have no idea what to do. I’m a full stack developer who is helping someone out, and the last thing I want to do is destroy their site by trying to make it better. Any help you have would be great; I’m just trying to keep it layman safe in case I have other things going on/they move on without me)
