Really WCAG compliant?

  • On the theme’s site there is this information:

    Accessibility Ready

    Astra is accessible and follows WCAG 2.0 standards. It meets the AA level which is essential for usability.

    Wondering why the “Accessibility Ready” tag is not included for this template on www.remarpro.com?

    We haven’t got Astra reviewed by the www.remarpro.com team for accessibility standards due to the time the WordPress team takes to review accessibility standards.

    We had tried it in the past, and the ETA for review was something like three months. This means, for three months, we would not be able to release any other updates, until the accessibility review is done. So we skipped it.
