PDF invoice location and size

  • Hello.
    Thank you for this amazing plugin.

    I have a couple of questions.

    Where are the invoices stored?
    Is the folder stored the same one used to display the invoices in My Account page?
    I am also concerned about the pdf size. The pdf sizes created by the plugin are 212kb.
    Is that big for a simple pdf document. I am concerned about space.

    Hello Vassos,
    The plugin only stores files temporarily (in wp-content/uploads), after 7 days the PDF gets deleted. You can reduce this to 1 day in the “Status” tab of the plugin settings.

    If you want to reduce the filesize you can enable “Font subsetting” in the General tab.

    Thank you for your response.

    I though the plugin stores the pdf forever so that customers can have access to their purchase history.

    So what will happen when a customer requests an invoice through their My Account page after the 7 days? Will the plugin recreate the invoice and delete it again after the 7 day period?
