I just updated to WordPress 5.8 and also updated several of my plugins. When I go to my website /wp-admin/ page now I can see and edit all my website pages except my blog (URL above). Clicking Edit on that just gives me a blank black page saying Blog, as if I’m starting a whole new blog. The URL above shows the blog as it now exists.

Where has my blog gone, and how do I get it back?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That blog page is an automatically generated page that contains your most recent posts. It is not directly editable.

Thank you, Steve. How do I edit my existing blog then? It doesn’t show up when I click Edit under the Blog page.

If you want to change the home page, pick a new one under SETTINGS->READING. Otherwise, add new posts and they’ll appear, in order, on the front page.

No, I need to edit (or even see) my existing blog posts. How do I do that?

Click on the post in question and look for a little edit link. It’s location is dependent on your theme. Or, go to DASHBOARD->POSTS to located and edit post.

OK, I see there is a Posts selection on my dashboard, and that does it. I don’t get there via Edit of my Blog page. Whew! Many thanks.
